ControlBoard is the first product engineered from the ground up to solve the problem of resource scheduling, tracking and dispatching in the commercial construction industry.
For years, the industry has struggled to find a viable construction management solution to counteract the drag on productivity caused by schedules that constantly change, capital assets that are difficult to locate and track, and the ongoing need to easily dispatch resources to the right people or job at the right time. Unlike project planning in which activities are simply planned, ControlBoard directly addresses the need to allocate resources to a job for a specific period of time (hourly, daily, weekly, ...) Project planning software is useful to create an overall job plan, but when it comes to running the day to day operations of a job, a different - and better - approach is required. Up until now, that approach meant using whiteboards, spreadsheets, word processors and e-mail to schedule the day-to-day resources needed on each job.
